Dr. Craig Bade
As a present Board of Directors member, I hope that not only I have the experiences and talents to help our Chapter but that I will have an opportunity to share them. I became a member in 1983 and have been a board member for over 10 years--from 1997 to 2002 and from 2010 to present. During this time, I have also been the editor of The Tracker, our Chapter’s quarterly magazine.
Soon after starting my medical practice, I also started hunting abroad. Currently, I have hunted Africa eleven times, Alaska five, Kyrgyzstan three, as well as Scotland, New Zealand, and Australia. I sampled the wildlife, terrain and hospitality in several western states as well as the providences of British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, Yukon, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. I have also been a frequent lecturer at the annual SCI Convention since 2009. If there is any legacy I leave behind I do not want it to be based on where I hunted or how many animals I shot. Instead I want to be known for how many people I have helped enjoy hunting, travel and the outdoors to its fullest.
